Templates

Here is an example of an excellent web template from one of our talented designers.  The look that the client was going for was to be innovative, yet clean and user friendly for visitors to their website.  We feel this design accomplishes those goals.

We are happy to provide design templates at a clients request, to get them moving in the right direction.

MyTriangleLawyer.com

We were very happy to work with Brian and the team at MyTriangleLawyer.  They came to us with a need for a database driven application that would allow them to manage their users and vendors who register for their site.  We utilized Ruby-on-Rails to build a scalable database which will aid MyTriangleLawyer in building their business locally with an eye on expansion in the future. We used an existing Content Management System, Typo, as a baseline. We recently wrote an article about Typo and you can find out more here.

From a sales and marketing side, the team at MTL has a great concept and an established team of professionals, so they didn’t need much help in developing their business model.  We were able to help consult and educate them on how to integrate ecommerce into their platform, as well as working with them on ways to effectively manage the data they receive through their website to maximize results.  Clever Start takes pride in education with all of our clients, so they can use the tools we develop for them to the best of their ability and fully utilize the capabilities of technology.

We are also working on Search Engine Optimization for their site which is always an on-going process.

Aquist.us

aquist.usAquist.us was a blast and a very fun project to work on. The client is a graphic designer by day but has rapidly been learning Ruby on Rails in his off-time, and has been adding unique touches to his application almost daily.  Sometimes all you need is a great tool and a little guidance.

HometoursHD

hometourshdEvery member of CleverStart is an entrepreneur themselves and understands that it can be a real challenge to develop your idea from something inside your head to something tangible. HometoursHD was a unique idea, in that it has massive potential and we were able to help the client develop his idea into a demo that could be shown to others. We used a unique blend of the latest Web2.0 style with a happy mixture of sophistication. If you have that next idea and need someone to help you get it to the next level, feel free to contact us.

Umalt.com (Non-profit site and blog)

cleverstart portfolio work umalt.comUmalt.com was a lot of fun, we used some PHP and a lot of CSS to get our client the desired look and feel that we were aiming for. Since completion they have been attracting many new visitors and helping out their existing users. Umatilla Morrow Alternatives dedicates long hours and lots of resources to the local community, and to help out with this, their guests are able to book events and needs. We still do maintenance and upkeep so that UMA is able to focus their time on what their good at, helping others and making a difference.

The CEO of Umalt had good things to say about the finished product:

"I have enjoyed working with James on building our first website, not only were they very responsive but they tried to see things from my point of view which is helpful. We love the way the site looks, they were patient in working with me even though I know I was very confusing, they helped us to realize our goal." -Frank

GatewayURP.com (UNCG/A&T Research park)

This project was an enjoyable challenge. Using a lot of CSS, we were able to increase the performance of the website and ensure that pages were being loaded quickly. This was due to the high amount of traffic that the site recieves. Originally the background consisted of more than twenty-five images, using modern digital imaging we were able to reduce this considerably.
